Golding are recruiting for an Administration Supervisor to lead the Admin Team at SWC mine, just 1.5 hours from Mackay

Golding is currently recruiting for an Administration Supervisor to be based on site and lead the Site Administration Team at South Walker Creek. The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, have experience in a similar Supervisor role and able to handle a large volume of work.
A proactive and organised work style along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role. On-site experience in a mining environment is essential. Locals are encouraged to apply or camp accommodation is also provided!
Key Task Types
- Supervise the work of assigned Administration Officers for Production, Maintenance and Document Control;
- Support Operational teams including Production, Maintenance, and Safety, Health, Environment, with admin related functions including payroll & leave processing, data capture & reporting and internal governance compliance;
- Assist with financial month end tasks, including running reports to identify variances and take necessary corrective actions within your authority;
- Accurately input purchase requisitions (PR’s) and receipts goods (GR’s) in to SAP;
- Ensure project Purchase to Pay measures are managed and that appropriate actions are taken to resolve any aged items, including close out of expired purchase orders;
- Provide a professional point of contact for project staff, visitors, and client representatives;
- Maintain accurate records, site specific correspondence registers, and manage site document control requirements;
- Prepare reports and other documents as required by your Manager.
Capability Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in a similar role in the Mining or a related industry;
- Demonstrated efficient computer and administration skills, including the ability to multi task and prioritise in a fast-paced working environment;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel, Work and Powerpoint
- Experienced in use of SAP, or similar ERP systems;
- Ability to solve problems;
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships;
- Demonstrated strong drive, energy and work efficiency
