About Foxleigh Mine:
Foxleigh Mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin coalfield, 12km south of Middlemount and 272km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine was established in 1999 as an open cut operation producing benchmark quality, LV PCI coal for the export market.
About the Role:
We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Automotive Electricians to join our Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our mining fleet.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for safely executing preventative, corrective and breakdown electrical maintenance activities across Foxleigh Mine's haulage fleet and ancillary equipment.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on mobile mining equipment

Maintaining electrical, electronic and control systems

Fault-finding across lighting, communication, monitoring and safety systems

Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
-
Installing, testing and commissioning electrical components and equipment

Completing maintenance records and work orders accurately

Supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintaining compliance with site safety and statutory requirements
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician

Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment or similar assets
-
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability

Experience with diagnostic software highly regarded
-
Strong understanding of electrical schematics and fault-finding processes

Current Open Driver's Licence
-
Standard 11 and Health Assessment (or ability to obtain)
