About the role:
We are currently seeking a few strong men to work as Production Operators to join our team at our tannery located in Laverton North 3026, working day shifts Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. We have plenty of work available due to growing demands.
As a Production Operator, you will be required to complete various manufacturing processes associated tanning raw hides into premium leather hides. This is a hands on role working with raw animal hides.
Training will be provided on the job, so no prior experience is necessary but you must be physically fit and confident working in a tannery environment.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Must be reliable and trustworthy by nature
- Be a self-starter and motivator
- Basic production worker experience desirable but not essential
- Be aware of safe WH&S practice
- This role involves lifting of raw hides and physical movements, so would be suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength.
- A forklift license will be ideal but not essential, and any experience in hide tanning will be advantageous.
