About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team of community workers visiting home in the Sydney Northern Beaches and North Shore. In this role, you will work cooperatively with clients and stakeholders to provide essential physical, emotional, and social support. You will be responsible for completing shift duties, writing progress notes at the end of the shift, and ensuring your services reflect our commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support with personal care, social support and domestic assistance, always supporting the development of the client's independent living skills within these three main duties.

Liaise effectively with clients’ families, friends, and significant others to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Advocate for clients when needed and manage challenging behaviours with professionalism and empathy.

Communicate with the office team and participate in professional workplace behaviours to ensure our clients' care remains well coordinated.
Requirements

Relevant Certificate III or a willingness to undertake a traineeship pathway.

Valid Driver’s Licence with current vehicle registration and comprehensive insurance.

Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

High level of communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in English is essential; other languages are a plus.

Proven reliability, resilience, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Working with Children Check (WWCC) is highly desirable.
