Abelia Landscaping & Gardens is seeking an experienced garden maintenance person to join our team based out of office in Keilor East.
This role is primarily focused on garden maintenance, across our portfolio of clients including schools, aged care facilities and social housing. The position offers the opportunity to progress to full-time after completion of a successful probationary period, or sooner for the right candidate.

The Role:
- Perform general garden maintenance: mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding
- Operate maintenance equipment: lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.
- Ride-on and zero-turn mower experience desirable but not essential
- Ensure landscaping designs are upheld and plant health is maintained
- Drive company vehicle to attend multiple job sites daily

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills with team members and clients
- Experience using power tools and operating machinery
- Confident in general handyman tasks
- Ability to tow a trailer
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Well presented with a focus on safety and quality
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Manual driver’s licence (preferred)
- Valid Police Check with NO Disclosable Outcomes (within 12 months) Essential
Experience:
- Grounds Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
