Key Responsibilities
1. ITRS Geneos Implementation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and deploy ITRS Geneos components (Gateway, Netprobe, Active Console)
- Set up monitoring rules, thresholds, alerts, and dashboards
- Customize samplers, rules, and plug-ins based on business requirements
2. Monitoring & Observability Design
- Design enterprise monitoring architecture across applications, middleware, and infrastructure
- Define observability strategies (metrics, logs, alerts) aligned to SLAs/SLOs
- Build dashboards for real-time visibility into system health
Core Technical Skills
- Strong experience in:
- ITRS Geneos (mandatory)
- ITRS Analytics / ITRS Observability
- Knowledge of:
- Linux/Unix environments
- Scripting (Python, Shell)
- SQL / database monitoring
- Understanding of:
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, SNMP)
- Middleware (MQ, Kafka)
- Cloud monitoring (AWS / Azure)
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
