Roster: Casual 1-2-Month contract | Working Monday to Friday 7am start 8-10-hour days
Location: Dandenong, VIC
Duties & Responsibilities
- The role will be assisting the Project Manager with on-site construction management for project
- Supervise 1-2 contractors
- Issue daily permit to work and ensure safety measures are implemented
- Review Contractor SWMS and ensure compliance by contractors and flag any issues.
- Enforce site‑specific WHS/OHS policies and procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions
- Identify hazards and ensure contractor follows risk controls (JSA/SWMS)
- Ensure correct use of PPE by all personnel and following industry work practices; Overseeing safety and methodologies are aligned with industry accepted work practices and drawings
- Report, investigate, and assist in the resolution of incidents and near‑misses
- Maintain all records: Daily project report covering works done, site issues, hours worked, prestarts, toolboxes, permits etc, record of site photos & reporting to PM
Skills & Experience
- Civil / Mechanical / Electrical works experience
- Project management experience
- Traffic Management understanding
- Understanding of drawings & program
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated
- High attention to detail
Highly Regarded:
- Experience delivering Brownfields Projects
- Experience in waste management industry installations
