OPERATIONS MANAGER

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 + Super + Performance Bonus

Mister Minh is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant, bar, events and catering business located in Richmond.
With over 30 years of history, we are entering a new phase of growth focused on strong leadership, operational excellence and long-term scalability.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of daily operations, lead our team and help build the next chapter of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the overall operation of the venue.
You will work closely with ownership to improve systems, develop staff, maintain service standards and create a strong culture of accountability throughout the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all day-to-day venue operations
- Manage and develop a team of 20+ staff
- Rostering and labour management
- Stock control and ordering
- Customer service and issue resolution
- Staff training and performance management
- Oversee front of house, bar and kitchen operations
- Maintain and improve operational systems
- Ensure venue standards are consistently achieved
- Produce weekly operational reports
- Drive accountability, efficiency and team performance
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3 years management experience in hospitality
- Experience managing teams of 20+ staff
-Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with rostering, stock control and labour management
- Calm under pressure and highly organised
- High level of personal accountability
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Comfortable holding standards and managing difficult conversations
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Multi-site hospitality experience
- Franchise or QSR experience
- Experience developing leaders and management teams
- Experience implementing operational systems and procedures
- Strong understanding of KPI reporting
