As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Student Recruitment & Marketing Specialist to support and expand our enrolment activities.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in the Australian education sector, particularly within an RTO or CRICOS-registered provider.
Role Overview
The Student Recruitment & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for generating, managing, and converting student leads through both online and offline channels, while supporting broader marketing and brand-building initiatives.
You will work closely with admissions, management, and external partners to ensure consistent enrolment growth aligned with the college’s objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Strategy
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns to drive student enrolments
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities (courses, markets, regions)
- Assist in pricing, promotion planning, and recruitment channel optimisation
Online Lead Generation
- Generate and manage student leads through social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital platforms
- Manage and optimise lead generation campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other education portals
- Handle inbound enquiries and ensure timely follow-up
- Maintain accurate lead data and reporting
Offline Lead Generation
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, and on-ground marketing activities
- Coordinate with agents, counsellors, and partners to source prospective students
- Collect, verify, and manage leads generated from offline activities
Lead Management & Coordination
- Qualify leads based on eligibility and interest before handover to admissions
- Maintain regular follow-ups to nurture prospects
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Work closely with admissions and management teams to align recruitment targets
Digital & Brand Presence
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Support SEO/SEM initiatives and digital advertising
- Collaborate with designers, agencies, and external vendors as required
- Participate in promotional videos, reels, or marketing content where needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in education marketing, administration, operations, or lead generation
- Prior experience within an RTO / CRICOS provider is highly regarded
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and digital marketing platforms
- Familiarity with Student Management Systems (SMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably aXcelerate
- Ability to maintain student records, enrolment data, attendance/progress notes and compliance-related information in the system
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of the Australian education system and international student sector
Desirable
- Experience using aXcelerate or similar RTO/CRICOS management systems
- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, SEO/SEM tools
- Bilingual skills
- Experience working with education agents
- Experience supporting RTO/CRICOS compliance administration
