The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Remediations Services Advisor to lead operational excellence here in Rocklea. In this role you will be responsible for driving business growth and strategic sales, managing end-to-end projects as well as contract securement and optimising our water treatment operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has experience leading in the remediation or civil works space in an operational capacity, is familiar with the remediation process and has the ability to create trusted, long standing relationships with key stakeholders in various industries

What you'll be responsible for
Lead and manage the Environmental Technician team and Advisors - providing guidance and support while overseeing significant projects including on-site operations, contractor engagement and stakeholder relations
Undertake waste treatment and provide waste/soil characterisation and assessment by delivering advice, quotes and feedback to the Sales Team. Liaising with employees and customers to recommend best service options
Maximising contract value by managing all administrative and contract requirements in a timely and accurate manner. Evaluate customer service performance, set preventative strategies to minimise complaints and assist the remediations team in decision-making
Ensure compliance with NIMS (National Integrated Management system) requirements and relevant legislation; monitor changes in regulations and standards, ensuring the business unit understands and addresses any impacts accordingly
Drive business growth and operational effectiveness by implementing business plans, developing cost-saving strategies, managing KPIs and building strong prospect pipelines across Metro Brisbane and sales networks to promote Veolia in the wider community
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the Remediation Services Team and other Veolia divisions, proactively manage issues and concerns and maintain strong relationships with external parties and statutory authorities
What you'll need to be successful
Degree in Environmental Engineering or relevant field /equivalent professional experience;
Leadership experience within the environmental industry, engineering, civil works or similar (previous experience or knowledge in remediation services is highly desirable)
Previous experience across tendering and subcontractor management
A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high level stakeholders
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
A Valid Drivers Licence
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to clarify, resolve issues and make decisions
