Position Purpose
The Welder position exists to deliver high‑quality welding and fabrication services that support the company’s manufacturing and operational requirements. The role ensures the safe and efficient preparation, assembly, and repair of metal components, contributing to the production of durable products that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of metal components using appropriate techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, oxy‑acetylene).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and test welded joints to verify strength, quality, and compliance with standards.
- Repair and maintain metal structures, machinery parts, and equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to workplace health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Welding) or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant industry experience in welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy‑acetylene welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards and compliance practices.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate in workshop environments.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
