About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide expert clinical and informatics knowledge in the use of the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) in perioperative areas including PowerChart, SurgiNet and SurgiNet Anaesthesia Applications (SAA). This includes supporting the general function of the service through role modelling, the application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the registered nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.

Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Apply advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in ieMR, SurgiNet and SAA.
Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to address emerging service needs in relation to ieMR, SurgiNet and SAA.
Provide teaching to clinical and administrative staff to facilitate learning, change adoption and enable them to move towards independence.
Participate in and support the performance and development planning of self and others to improve the standards of care.
