About your opportunity:
In this position you will....
Apply professional judgement to the review and prioritisation of referrals in accordance with clinical need to facilitate appropriate and timely delivery of service.
Ensure patient care issues are managed, including liaison with other clinicians, clinical departments and external providers and patient related incidents are reported and documented according to hospital procedures.
Provide direction to assistant and support staff. Assist Director of Medical Imaging, Assistant Director and Modality Section Leaders with departmental nonclinical tasks as delegated.
