What you'll be doing
As an Advanced Clinical Coder, you will apply your high-level coding knowledge and analytical skills to accurately code inpatient episodes of care while supporting coding quality and mentoring less experienced coders where required.
Assign accurate ICD-10-AM and ACS compliant codes using Solventum Codefinder
Review medical records and electronic documentation to ensure coding accuracy and data integrity
Monitor DRG allocation and contribute to activity-based funding accuracy and performance outcomes
Participate in coding audits, education sessions and WSLHD Coding Quality Plan initiatives
Support junior coders through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing activities
