Azalea Home Support Services are hiring!
AHSS is a community service provider catering to the needs of NDIS clients. We are new to the scene, however are growing with our bespoke and genuine care for our clients and community.
We are looking for a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic support workers to join our team as we grow to support South Australian clients, on a casual basis.
Please note, the available work is strictly limited to the Southern Suburbs of South Australia.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Provide high quality, professional and unique personalised support.
- Maintain professional and respectful boundaries with other workers and clients
- Manual Handling, lifting, bending, positive behaviour support and monitoring as required
- Personal care assistance with toileting, showering, meal assistance, medication, grooming, household chores and other tasks as required
- Daily Support in planning, communication and transport as required by the client
About you:
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar
- A Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Manual Training or willing to obtain
- COVID-19 Infection Control module
Desirable
- Minimum 1 year experience working within the community services sector
- Medication Administration training from a Nationally Accredited RTO
