Costerfield Operations, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated in Central Victoria, east of Bendigo and surrounded by numerous towns within a 50km radius, offering a variety of residential options.
Our current operation runs an underground mine and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold and antimony. The mine's workforce consists of over 250 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing, and trades.

We are seeking a Geologist to join our team at Costerfield Operations. This role is ideal for an experienced mine Geologist who can contribute to a growing operation
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Geologist to work within safe and efficient workflows in the Geology department.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
· Proposing, planning and managing surface and underground exploration drill programs and exploration projects.
· Liaising with contractors
· Interpreting and regular reporting of drill results and exploration activities
· Integration and interpretation of geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets
· Maintenance of regional and prospect scale models
· Field & underground mapping and core logging
About You
· Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Geologist
· Diamond core logging and regional exploration experience required
· Skilled in geological interpretation using Micromine or Leapfrog
· Strong analytical and report writing skills5
· Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
· Work well interacting across multiple teams
· Exposure to Gold/Antimony is desirable
