Position Overview
The Landscape Estimator & Client Solutions Consultant is a key client‑facing role responsible for turning enquiries into well‑scoped, profitable work. This position blends technical knowledge of gardening and landscaping with strong communication and sales skills. You’ll meet clients, assess their needs, prepare accurate estimates, and guide them toward the best solutions for their garden or outdoor space. The goal is simple: deliver clarity, confidence, and exceptional service from first contact to job approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site assessments for gardening, landscaping, and maintenance enquiries.
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for residential and commercial clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients about scope, pricing, timelines, and service options.
- Recommend suitable solutions based on site conditions, client goals, and budget.
- Convert enquiries into booked jobs through professional, value‑driven sales conversations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation, turf, and landscape materials.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure estimates align with practical delivery.
- Follow up with leads, nurture client relationships, and support repeat business.
- Update CRM or job management systems with notes, quotes, and client interactions.
- Represent the business professionally at all times, reinforcing brand values and service quality.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture (preferred).
- Strong understanding of outdoor services, materials, and labour requirements.
- Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate quotes and explain them clearly.
- Confidence in sales conversations without being pushy.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple enquiries.
- Competence with digital quoting or job management systems.
