We are seeking a reliable and long-term Casual Driver based in Coolum Beach. We provide the work van, so there is no wear and tear on your personal vehicle! This position is perfectly suited for a retiree or semi-retiree looking for consistent, light local work, a great routine, and an immediate start.
The Role:
- What you’ll do: Drive our company van to local business customers, collect outgoing parcels, transport them safely back to the Post Office, and complete the lodgement process.
- Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (9 hours per week).
- Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour plus super.
- Location: Coolum Beach and immediate surrounds.
- Start Date: Immediate start available.
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliability & Commitment: Someone seeking a long-term, stable, and dependable routine.
- Licence: A valid, clean Australian Driver’s Licence (suitable for driving a standard commercial van).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and handle parcels of varying sizes and weights (light to medium lifting).
- Local Knowledge: Good familiarity with the Coolum Beach area.
- Friendly Demeanour: A polite, punctual, and helpful attitude when interacting with business clients and post office staff.
