Join Siemens and step into a pivotal leadership role as State Manager – NSW Service Operations (Buildings), reporting directly to the Head of Service. This is an opportunity to lead one of our largest and most strategically important service businesses, shaping its operational performance, customer relationships, and future growth.
At Siemens Smart Infrastructure, our Buildings business creates intelligent environments that adapt to the needs of people and the planet. We partner with customers across commercial buildings, healthcare, education, data centres and critical infrastructure, delivering integrated solutions including Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, fire and life safety, security, energy optimisation, and digital services. Our focus is on helping customers improve building performance, reduce energy consumption, enhance compliance, and achieve their sustainability goals throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
As State Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the NSW Service business. While operational excellence remains fundamental, this role is equally focused on growing the business through strong customer relationships, strategic account leadership and identifying opportunities to expand our service offering. You will work closely with customers, sales teams and national leadership to strengthen our market position, increase customer value, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
In this role you will:
- Lead and grow the NSW Service business, delivering strong financial performance while identifying opportunities to expand customer partnerships and drive profitable growth.
- Develop high-performing teams and exceptional customer relationships, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding service delivery and a culture focused on accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
Success in this role will come from your ability to balance commercial leadership with operational delivery. You will lead a diverse team across NSW, providing strategic direction while remaining closely connected to customers, supporting major contract outcomes, resolving complex challenges, and ensuring consistent service excellence. You will champion collaboration across operations, sales and support functions, using customer insights to identify new opportunities, improve retention and strengthen long-term partnerships.
You will also drive continuous improvement across the business by enhancing operational performance, improving productivity, strengthening governance, and embedding consistent processes that enable scalable growth.
You'll be an experienced senior leader with a track record of leading service, facilities management, technical operations or building services businesses. You are commercially minded and customer-focused, with experience managing P&L performance, leading dispersed teams and developing strong executive-level customer relationships. Most importantly, you'll bring the ability to inspire people, build trusted partnerships, and grow a service business by combining operational discipline with commercial thinking. You're comfortable navigating complex contract environments, influencing stakeholders at all levels and creating lasting value for both customers and Siemens.
At Siemens, you'll join a global leader in smart infrastructure where innovation, sustainability and digital transformation are shaping the future of buildings. You'll have the opportunity to lead a significant business, work alongside industry experts and make a tangible impact for customers across NSW.

Our benefits include hybrid working (2–3 days from home), a dedicated annual learning target of 35 hours, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, paid volunteer leave and a collaborative, inclusive workplace where people can build rewarding long-term careers.
