Sandwich Hand / Catering Assistant
Gusto Catering & Events is looking for a reliable and motivated Sandwich Hand to join our growing catering team.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in presentation, and is looking for a stable position with a good work-life balance.
About the role
You will be assisting with the preparation and packing of fresh sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, platters, and catering orders for corporate and private events across Sydney.
Duties include:
- Preparing sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, and catering items
- Assisting with daily production and packing orders
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Working closely with the kitchen and catering team
- Helping with general kitchen duties as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous kitchen, sandwich hand, or catering experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Food safety knowledge is an advantage

Salary: $55,000 per year + Super
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime if required
