About the role and team
We are looking for a strategic Sales Manager to lead the growth, performance, and expansion of Uber Eats' Digital Sales Centre (DSC) and offshore sales operations across ANZ.
In this role, you will drive commercial performance across our BPO sales teams while building the next generation of our scaled sales capabilities. Partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will improve sales productivity, implement new technologies, expand into new markets, and integrate AI into our core sales motions.
This cross-functional role sits at the intersection of sales operations, vendor management, business transformation, AI enablement, and market expansion.
What you'll do
- Lead the strategy and go-to-market execution for ANZ Scaled programs across BPO and digital channels in close alignment with functional leads.
- Own commercial expansion quotas for the ANZ SMB small segment.
- Partner with the Restaurant Operations team to lead quarterly channel planning and ongoing operational execution.
- Drive growth, performance, and oversight across ANZ BPO sales initiatives for SMB small.
- Optimise vendor outcomes through rigorous KPI management, forecasting, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
- Work alongside regional sales leaders and restaurant operations to improve productivity, quality, and commercial returns.
- Direct co-funding budgets and ad-credit frameworks, ensuring strategic deployment to maximise growth.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations partners to establish sales targets and track ongoing attainment for SMB small accounts.
- Build governance frameworks, operating models, and playbooks designed for replication across markets.
Basic qualifications
- 8-10 years experience leading BPO, outsourced sales, or scaled sales operations within a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder, cross-functional programs across regions.
- Track record of launching new processes, entering markets, or scaling operational capabilities.
- Strong analytical background with expertise in building KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated application of AI, automation, and technology to drive sales productivity.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organisational influencing skills.
- High adaptability with a proven ability to drive change through ambiguity.
Preferred qualifications
- Expertise in vendor strategy, procurement, and management.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, modern CRM platforms, and tech-enabled sales enablement tools.
- Hands-on background managing offshore vendors or BPO partner networks.
- Practical skill in leveraging AI tools to optimise daily workflows and output.
- Prior cross-market exposure across broader APAC regions is a strong plus.
Familiarity with AI-driven sales, conversational AI, or digital customer engagement platforms.
