Your new role:
As the dedicated administrative support for the MHIDD team, you will play a vital role in enabling efficient, high-quality and responsive mental health services across Metro South Health.
Provide high-level administrative, coordination and service development support, including diary and meeting coordination, correspondence and document management, data entry, procurement and workforce administration.
Exercise initiative, sound judgement and discretion to independently manage priorities, deadlines and incoming correspondence, while developing and maintaining effective administrative systems, templates and workflows.
Prepare high-quality correspondence, briefing notes, reports, presentations and project documentation, and support education, training, quality improvement and service development activities through coordination, data collection, reporting and project tracking.
About you:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administration professional who brings initiative, sound judgement and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred service.
Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support in a sensitive and professional environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare high-quality documentation for diverse stakeholders.
Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, with the judgement and initiative to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to change and work with a high degree of autonomy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint, together with the ability to develop and refine administrative systems in response to changing business needs.
