Role Description:
Reporting to the ISOW Project Engineering Manager, you will support the Project Engineering Manager to establish and author the System of Work design approach during mobilisation, with primary focus on the design elements developed within a model based environment.
You will capture initial design inputs, shape the initial architecture, and help put the engineering management foundations in place to enable the next phase of the design program.
Core Duties:
- Define the initial SoW system architecture within the model (use cases, activities & derived requirements)
- Develop the standard to integrate and relate to the Enterprise Business Capability Model project that sets the business demand
- Identify, import, and structure available early design inputs into the model where source data exists.
- Maintain model integrity, naming conventions, and configuration as the design matures
- Support development of the Engineering Management Plan and related Engineering Management System artefacts
Essential Skills:
- A University degree level engineering qualification
- Demonstrated systems engineering experience
- Experience in effective use of Engineering Process, Methods, Tools and Infrastructure
- Proven ability to function confidently within a project team environment with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously
- Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables
- Defence security clearance NV1
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
