Time for Tutoring is expanding its team in Sydney's south, and we're currently hiring tutors in the Parramatta and surrounding area to support local students in reaching their academic goals.
Many of the families we work with are from culturally diverse backgrounds, including a number of Middle Eastern families, and tutors who have experience or comfort working within these communities are highly valued. We welcome applicants at every stage: university students, recent graduates, and experienced educators alike.
About the Role
We're seeking reliable, capable tutors to provide one-on-one tuition in English, Maths, and/or Science across all year levels from Primary through to Year 12. Tutors able to cover more than one subject are especially encouraged to apply.
This role is offered on a subcontractor basis, which means you will:
- Be matched with students according to your subject expertise and availability
- Be paid per lesson
- Manage and set your own availability
- Hold a valid ABN (guidance provided if you don't already have one)

Requirements
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas
- Capability to teach across multiple subjects is a plus
- A dependable, professional, and personable manner
- Clear communication with students and their families
- Willingness to travel to students' homes within your local area for in-person lessons
- Online tutoring available, though in-person sessions are in greater demand
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not required
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid ABN
Pay is competitive and will be discussed at interview.
