Full-Time Retail Manager Position – Boost Fuel Bermagui, Bermagui NSW
Core Duties of the Role
* Providing hands-on customer service and ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
* Managing staff, including rostering and training, to maintain efficient store operations.
* Managing daily banking, cash handling and reconciliation reports.
* Managing and ordering stock to ensure adequate inventory levels.
* Ensuring the presentation of quality food and grocery options, with all products appropriately stocked, displayed and well organised.
* Overseeing food handling processes and maintaining a clean, safe and appealing store environment.
* Communicating regularly with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
* Preparing required reports on stock levels, sales figures and operational performance.
* Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
* Resolving conflicts and addressing customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
* Monitoring and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive store performance.
* Managing Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
* Supervising and maintaining accurate Point of Sale (POS) operations.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and store efficiency.
Additional Duties
* Ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations and retail standards.
* Coordinating in-store promotions and ensuring promotional materials are correctly displayed.
* Overseeing the smooth operation of the café or prepared food section and maintaining high standards of food presentation, hygiene and food safety.
* Managing store security and overseeing loss-prevention strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum Diploma-level qualification.
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in retail management.
* At least 1 year of experience using Point of Sale (POS) software.
* A strong customer service background with at least 1 year of experience.
* Proven ability to manage and supervise a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
