Practice Manager / Receptionist (Casual) — Lead the Practice, Delight our patients

Hogans Road Dental in Hoppers Crossing is looking for an experienced, patient first minded Practice Manager on a casual basis.
This is a casual position with shifts offered and agreed in advance. It suits someone who wants real leadership responsibility, or an experienced operator who prefers flexibility.
You'll manage day-to-day operations, look after the patient experience end to end, and help us lift chair productivity, patient growth and treatment acceptance.
What you'll do
- Run daily practice operations during your shifts
- Manage the front desk and step in chairside where the team needs support
- Deliver a standout patient experience from first phone call to final review
- Keep the books full and chairs productive through smart scheduling
- Support new patient growth and keep existing patients coming back
- Lift treatment acceptance through clear, confident communication
- Track performance against KPIs — billings, recalls, retention, reviews and financial results
- Manage stock, suppliers and practice administration
- Maintain infection control, accreditation and regulatory compliance
- Work alongside the owners on practice improvement and growth initiatives
- Hand over cleanly so the practice runs smoothly on the days you're not in
What you'll need
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- 2+ years in dental reception, front desk or practice management
- Reasonable experience in chairside dental assisting
- A track record of leading a dental practice or team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Sharp organisational and problem-solving instincts
- A commercial eye for where the business can perform better
- Comfort working independently and picking things up mid-stream
Applications without the minimum chairside and reception experience are unlikely to progress.
