Experienced Barista – Coffee Head Co.
Coffee Head Co. is a independent specialty coffee shop in South Brisbane, and we’re looking for an experienced barista to join our team.
We care about great coffee, consistency and genuine customer service. We’re looking for someone who can confidently step behind the machine, handle a busy service and take pride in every cup that goes across the counter.
About the role
- Minimum 4 shifts per week
- Starting casual, with the opportunity to move into a permanent part-time position
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- Early morning starts
- Approximately 20–30+ hours for the right person
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years' barista experience in a fast-paced café
- Confident dialling in and adjusting grinders throughout service
- Strong milk texturing and coffee presentation
- Comfortable working quickly while maintaining quality
- Good understanding of specialty coffee
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Happy to jump in and help the team outside of the coffee station when needed
We’re a small team, so attitude matters just as much as coffee skills. We want someone who takes ownership of their section, communicates well and enjoys being part of a café where regulars are a big part of what we do.
