ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital and Talent Acquisition Oceania is responsible for coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities across Prysmian’s Oceania and South-East Asia operations, working closely with hiring managers, HR teams, and regional stakeholders to support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives. The role involves advertising vacancies, sourcing and assessing candidates, supporting interview and selection processes, and managing onboarding activities to ensure a consistent employee experience across the region. The position also supports HR reporting, Workday data management, recruitment analytics, and stakeholder communications related to organisational changes, headcount planning, and people development activities.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITES
Vacancy Intake & Employer Engagement
- Liaise with hiring managers and department heads across Prysmian’s Oceania and South-East Asia operations to receive and record job vacancy information, including job descriptions, required skills, salary ranges, and conditions of employment.
- Keep track of organisational changes and workforce developments in the region to anticipate and respond to staffing needs in a timely manner.
- Provide information on current job vacancies within the organisation to internal stakeholders, HR country teams, and prospective candidates.
- Coordinate with country and regional HR to align vacancy activity with headcount plans and organisational structure changes tracked in Workday.
Advertising & Candidate Sourcing
- Coordinate the advertising of job vacancies across appropriate channels including job boards, internal platforms, LinkedIn, and professional networks to attract suitably qualified candidates.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and People Development teams to support employer branding initiatives, promoting Prysmian as an employer of choice across its manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions in the region.
- Support People Development and Talent Acquisition teams with recruitment activities including sourcing, pipeline building, and reporting on candidate progress.
Candidate Interviewing & Selection
- Interview and assess applicants to determine their job requirements and suitability for particular roles, evaluating skills, experience, and alignment with Prysmian’s workforce and cultural requirements.
- Support shortlisting and structured selection processes in partnership with hiring managers, ensuring consistency and compliance with Prysmian’s HR policies and applicable employment legislation.
- Provide candidates with information on conditions of service, salary ranges, and career development opportunities within Prysmian Group.
Onboarding & Induction
- Manage onboarding for new joiners in the region, coordinating induction activities and ensuring new employees receive relevant information on conditions of employment, benefits, and development opportunities from their first day.
- Work closely with country HR teams and line managers to facilitate a smooth and consistent onboarding experience across Oceania and South-East Asia.
- Support HR communication activities in the region related to new joiner announcements and onboarding programmes.
HR Systems, Reporting & Data Quality
- Maintain accurate recruitment and personnel records in Workday, ensuring data quality and compliance with internal procedures and data governance standards.
- Monitor data quality in Workday for Oceania and South-East Asia region countries including headcount, people development, and organisational data relevant to recruitment activity.
- Generate data analysis and reporting on recruitment functions in the region, including time-to-fill, headcount movement, and hiring outcomes, to support HR leadership decision-making.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues and tickets related to HRIS in the context of recruitment and onboarding workflows, and propose improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with HR countries and functions in monitoring and improving HR digitalisation and reporting related to talent acquisition.
HR Communications & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support regular internal communications in the region by working with country and regional HR, HSE, and Senior Management Teams (SMTs) on matters related to recruitment and people changes.
- Act as a point of contact to HQ on matters related to Workday and digital HR tools as they relate to recruitment, organisational changes, and workforce reporting.
- Support performance evaluation and training reporting activities in coordination with the People Development team.
Minimum skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related plus at least 1 year of relevant work experience OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
