The Opportunity
We have an opportunity available for an Senior Surveyor to join our Engineering Survey team in Perth. Working on local projects, with the expectation to offer occasional support into the FIFO team on an ad-hoc basis when required.
To be successful in this role, you must hold an Australian Survey Diploma or Degree qualification and a current Australian Driver's License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake surveys around the Pilbara area including Construction Sites and Mine Sites completing Set-out Surveys, Detail Surveys, Structural Surveys and Audits.
- Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.
- Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines.
- Working from our Pilbara offices or on Sites around the region on a flexible roster basis
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Previous experience working on engineering surveying projects in a senior capacity
- Hold a relevant surveying qualification
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software 12d & 12d Field (not essential)
- The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones
- An understanding of point cloud capture technologies and solutions including processing and data modelling
- Demonstrated time management skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- A motivated person with a passion for Surveying
