At Bindaree, this role keeps our Cooma plant safe, compliant and running smoothly by overseeing all areas of by-products processing, from raw material flow and rendering through to odour, effluent and waste management.
You will take day-to-day responsibility for rendering and environmental systems on site, working closely with the Plant Manager, Environmental Officer and maintenance team to protect our people, meet site requirements and minimise environmental impact.

To be successful, you’ll need:
- Experience in rendering, by-products, offal or a similar area within red-meat processing.
- Experience leading a team as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager.
- Clear, practical communication skills and a calm approach in a busy plant environment.
- A reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
- Experience working with maintenance teams and identifying equipment issues early.
- An MSMBLIC001 Licence to Operate a Standard Boiler is highly regarded, but not essential.
