Soi 25 is a hatted upscale casual Thai restaurant in Pyrmont, known for our Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and a tight Chef's Selection of dine-in exclusives. We're looking for a confident wok chef to run the stir-fry and noodle section and cover starters through service.
The role
- Full command of the wok — stir-fries, noodles, fried rice — to spec, at pace
- Cold larder and starter plating
- Prep, mise en place, and ordering support for the section
- Clean bench, tight communication, and respect for the pass
About you
- Minimum 3 years' wok experience in a busy Thai or modern Asian kitchen
- Confident with heat, timing, and volume — handles a busy service without losing composure
- Solid starter and cold section experience
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and takes pride in the section

- $78,000 salary plus tips
