Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking an accomplished Group Director of Finance to lead our finance function. As a key member of the Executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact role suited to a high-performing leader who shares our drive and commitment to continue delivering excellence in all that we do.
ABOUT THE ROLE:-
Strategically important role reporting into the CEO, a member of the Executive Committee and an important player in shaping how the organisation is run

Manage all financial and management accounting as well as cash flow management for the group

Lead/Partner with General Managers to achieve excellent financial control across the Hotel Group
-
Lead a team of seven employees to work in a high performance, engaged workplace environment
-
Monitor and improve systems, policies and procedures across all elements of financial and operational control budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting etc.

Be prepared to have a hands-on approach in the processing of daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting and compliance
-
Cultivate strong working relationships with JV partners, owners, key suppliers including banking, insurance, tax accounting, utilities, major contracts etc.

Assist with strategic direction of the business and Hotels as a key member of the Executive team

Manage assets via building maintenance, best use assessment and capital expenditure
-
Help manage acquisition, handover, new opening and refurbishment projects
ABOUT YOU:
-
Experienced senior Finance practitioner, preferably with regional, Executive or multi-property experience
-
Have a history of success in previous roles

Strong leadership experience and the ability to build rapport with all members of the organisation

Have a desire to constantly learn and develop yourself and others to help lead the organisation to excellence
-
Have the ability to build on our strong foundation and take it to the next level through the execution of innovative ideas
-
Skilled in influencing others and navigating difficult conversations around financial matters
- Have strong organisational, task-management and problem resolution skills
-
Possess strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel. Payroll system experience is highly desirable
-
Be CA or CPA qualified and current
