What you'll be doing
To provide effective Mental Health services to the patients while working under supervision, in order to develop expertise in psychiatric practice, in a complex clinical environment. Trainee-Unaccredited Position will provide general psychiatric care to patients under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist. Training opportunities are provided in adult psychiatry and all psychiatric subspecialties and specialized secondary and tertiary referral services including Child and Adolescent (C&A) psychiatry, Perinatal psychiatry, Mood Disorders, Early Intervention and Youth Mental Health, Psychogeriatric & Consultation-Liaison psychiatry.
The training network provides training in accordance with training requirements of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) to support progression toward becoming a Trainee with the RANZCP.
