Gemini is Coburg's neighbourhood wine bar, bottle shop and all-day eatery — a place where community, creativity and good food intersect. We're housed in a restored 1888 bluestone building on Sydney Road, and our menu is euro-leaning, seasonal and designed to pair beautifully with wine.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable Morning Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a prep-focused morning role with simple breakfast preparation.
We're open to casual or permanent part-time arrangements — 20–30 hours per week across a mix of morning shifts, and the occasional evening shift if you're available.
What You'll Do
- Prepare mise en place and ingredients for morning service
- Cook breakfast items to recipe spec and presentation standards
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and an organised station
- Assist with stock rotation and deliveries
- Support the kitchen team with simple sections during service
Who You Are
- Some experience in a professional kitchen
- Reliable, calm and ready to go from the moment you arrive
- Strong food hygiene practices
- Positive attitude and great communication
- Available across weekday and weekend mornings
