About the Role
You'll own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle across our contact centre's telephony and digital channels, transforming raw data into reliable datasets, uncovering actionable insights, and presenting compelling narratives that influence strategy at every level.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and storytelling. You'll build the foundations, discover what matters, and make it land.
What You'll Do

Build scalable data foundations – Design and maintain pipelines, semantic models, and transformations (SQL, BigQuery, Power BI) that turn source data into analytics-ready assets.

Deliver compelling insights – Analyse contact volumes, service metrics, customer satisfaction, sentiment, and workforce data to surface trends and opportunities that drive performance improvements.

Tell the story – Create visually stunning dashboards and reports that make complex data accessible to stakeholders from frontline managers to senior executives.

Drive measurable impact – Provide actionable recommendations that improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and commercial performance.

Leverage AI & automation – Use intelligent tools to accelerate workflows—from code generation to anomaly detection—while applying critical thinking to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Champion data governance – Uphold standards for data quality, lineage, documentation, and access controls across all reporting assets.
What You Bring;
Technical excellence
-
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Strong SQL skills: complex queries, performance optimisation, production troubleshooting

Power BI expertise: DAX, M language, semantic modelling, RLS, deployment

Experience with cloud data platforms (Google BigQuery or similar)

Proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and dimensional data modelling

Understanding of CI/CD principles and version-controlled deployment

Familiarity with Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Confluence, and Google Workspace
Analytical edge

Proven experience in reporting, data analysis, or data engineering

Strong data visualisation and dashboard design capabilities

Understanding of data governance principles

Interest in AI-assisted analytics and automation tools

Python or scripting experience (desirable)
