Buon Appetit is a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant in Camden, specialising in handmade Italian food, fresh produce and high-volume service.
We are looking for an Apprentice Chef to join our larder section and grow with our kitchen team.
This role is suited to someone who is reliable, motivated, willing to learn and interested in building a real career as a chef.
About the Role
You will be working in our larder section, assisting with:
- Cold prep and mise en place
- Salads, entrees and cold dishes
- Portioning and organising ingredients
- Basic knife skills and prep work
- Labelling, stock rotation and FIFO
- Cleaning and maintaining your section
- Assisting chefs during busy service
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in becoming a chef
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work
- Good attitude and ability to follow direction
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- No major experience required, but kitchen experience is a bonus
- 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices welcome to apply
