Bourke Street Bakery is well known as one of Sydney's top artisan bakeries.
We are currently seeking a baker to join the team on a casual basis at our flagship store in Surry Hills.
Candidates must have experience working with yeasted doughs, cakes and tarts.
Hours are early mornings.
Duties include:
- Proving and baking sweet and savoury pastries.
- Setting temperatures and cooking times for different products
- Assembling and finishing tarts
- Working with our head baker at head office and communicating with him
- monitoring proving process
Attributes:
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be organised with production and have excellent time management skills
- Have a genuine passion for artisan breads & patisserie
