ReelWork is changing how hospitality and retail businesses hire staff.
Instead of relying on resumes, venues can view short candidate videos, post jobs, create hiring QR codes, browse candidate feeds, fill shifts and manage onboarding.
We are looking for a full time Venue Growth Representative to help grow ReelWork across Melbourne.
This is not a desk job and it is not a soft brand ambassador role. You will be out visiting venues, speaking to owners and managers, showing them how ReelWork works and helping them get properly set up.
The right person will be confident, switched on, organised and comfortable walking into cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, retailers and hospitality groups.
Hospitality experience is a big advantage. Sales experience is useful, but not required. We care more about confidence, work ethic, follow up and common sense.
The role
You will be responsible for visiting venues in person each week, explaining ReelWork to owners and managers, helping venues create accounts, getting venues to post jobs, getting QR hiring links live in venues, helping venues use the candidate feed, introducing the shift board and onboarding features, collecting feedback from venues, getting testimonials and simple content where possible, tracking all activity properly in our CRM and following up until venues are actually using the platform.
What success looks like
Success is not just getting someone to say they are interested.
Success means venues are signed up, using their account, posting jobs, displaying QR hiring links, getting candidates through ReelWork, using the platform regularly and giving feedback so we can improve.
We care about quality conversations, proper follow up and real venue activation. This is not about rushing around dropping off flyers. The goal is to build relationships and get venues genuinely using ReelWork.
Who this suits
This role would suit someone who has worked as a venue manager, assistant venue manager, area manager, hospitality supervisor, coffee rep, liquor rep, food supplier rep, event promoter, hospitality recruiter, retail manager or confident operator who knows how to talk to business owners.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is confident walking into venues, good with owners and managers, strong at communication, high energy, resilient, organised with follow up, comfortable using simple tech, able to work full time, comfortable being out on the road, hungry to grow with an early stage company and has no ego or excuses.
What we are not looking for
We are not looking for someone who only wants a desk job, talks well but does not follow through, needs constant hand holding, is scared of walking into venues, or only wants to manage but not do the work.
