Your new role:
As the Clinical Midwife - Antenatal Triage, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, coordination and delivery of high-quality antenatal care, working autonomously while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary maternity teams to achieve the best outcomes for women and their families.
Provide advanced clinical assessment, triage, care planning and coordination for women accessing antenatal services, ensuring safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care.
Utilise expert clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to manage complex antenatal presentations and facilitate timely referrals and escalation of care when required.
Lead and contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, education and research initiatives that support excellence in maternity care and service delivery.
Foster collaborative partnerships with women, families, midwifery and obstetric teams, while promoting culturally safe care and continuity of care models.
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate midwife with advanced antenatal experience, a commitment to evidence-based practice and a passion for delivering exceptional woman-centred care.
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in antenatal midwifery practice, including assessment, care planning and management of complex clinical situations.
Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously while building positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and equitable healthcare, with the ability to advocate for women and support informed decision-making.
Proven ability to apply research and evidence to practice, contribute to quality improvement activities, and support the learning and development of colleagues.

About us:
Meadowbrook Health Centre will provide a new Minor Injury and Illness Clinic and a Women's Health Outpatient Clinic. The Minor Injury and Illness Clinic will offer free, walk-in treatment for conditions not anticipated to be life-threatening. It will operate from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week, and is designed to help take pressure off Logan Hospital's emergency department for patients who do not require care in an acute hospital setting.
The Women's Health Outpatient Centre will provide a contemporary and convenient facility for local women attending antenatal and gynaecological appointments and tests.
