The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to cover core financial operations within a range of Retail, Manufacturing and service companies in the Bega/Kalaru/Tathra area.
You will be part of a wider team working with established AR/AP operations staffing in some larger entities and including full daily transactional processing in others.
Balance sheet reconciliations, understanding the business, reporting and accuracy are key to Operational manager finance support.
This role requires a strong working knowledge of Xero and flexibility in delivering the Group Finance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Manage end-to-end processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and payment runs, inventory finance accuracy.
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee invoicing, payment allocation, and proactive credit control management.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate records across multiple entities.
- Reconciliations: Complete month-end bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Software: Advanced, hands-on experience using Xero is essential. Striven knowledge beneficial
- Experience: Proven track record in a full-function AP/AR and month-end finance role. Ideally with inventory tracking.
- Capabilities: Responsible, Willing to be part of a team while working independently. Balance Sheet and P&L understanding
- Attributes: Flexibility, High attention to detail, Excel skills, and excellent communication.
