About the Role
Overseas Study & Migration Services (OSMS) is seeking motivated and experienced International Student Counsellors to join our Sydney office. The successful candidate will assist international students with education counselling, course selection, and admission processes while guiding study pathways in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional education counselling to prospective international students.
- Assist students with course selection, admissions, and application processing.
- Guide students throughout the enrolment process.
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into successful enrolments.
- Build and maintain relationships with students and education providers.
- Build and grow your own international student community/network in Sydney through networking, referrals, events, and outreach activities.
- Assist the marketing team by creating content for social media, participating in promotional videos, and supporting marketing campaigns and student recruitment events.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an education agency or student recruitment.
- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Knowledge of Australian education providers and student visa pathways is preferred.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Confident creating marketing content and collaborating with the marketing team.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
