Our Corporate Communications function shapes and protects our reputation across both external and internal audiences. We are currently recruiting a Communications Manager to join our Corporate Communications team.
Reporting to our Director of Corporate Affairs, you'll play a key role in elevating the Foxtel Group story through strategic media and stakeholder engagement, while also supporting employee deliver integrated corporate communications that strengthens our reputation and supports key business priorities.
Partnering with senior leaders, media, and industry stakeholders, you'll craft targeted messaging and bring it to life through content-led, multi-channel storytelling across the right platforms and audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Communications Strategy: Deliver integrated external and internal communications programs and announcements aligned to business objectives.
- Corporate & External Communications: Drive external communications activities, including issues management, corporate website management, and reputation-building initiatives.
- Media & Public Relations: Manage proactive and reactive media engagement and maintain strong media relationships.
- Internal Communications: Lead the communications for internal campaign and change projects, content, and events that engage a large, diverse workforce.
- Government Relations: Support government communications programs.
- Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders, ensuring seamless, high-quality support.
- Digital & Channel Management: Oversee communications channels end-to-end, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned. Manage publishing workflows, maintain platform, and partner with digital teams to keep content fresh and effective.
- Measurement & Insights: Embed measurement into communications, using insights to optimise performance.
- EVP & Employer Brand: Amplify the employee value proposition to engage current employees and attract talent.
- Company Profiling: Manage awards, speaking opportunities, and brand positioning initiatives.
- Creative & Innovation: Drive compelling, content-first storytelling and execute ideas at pace.
About your experience
- 5–7 years in corporate communications, with experience in the media, technology and entertainment industries highly regarded
- A proven track record developing and delivering communications strategies within large, complex organisations
- Strong media relations skills, both proactive story-telling and reactive issues management
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling ability across a range of formats and audiences
- Experience planning and executing multi-channel communications campaigns that cut through with diverse audiences
- Confident managing digital communications channels, content lifecycles, and platforms such as SharePoint. Design experience (Canva) is highly regarded.
- A natural collaborator who can influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Highly adaptable and comfortable operating at pace in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Sharp organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines
- A high attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality output every time
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, or Business (preferred)
