Experienced Cone Penetration Testing Operator – Brisbane
Black Insitu Testing is a growing specialised geotechnical testing company.
We are looking for an experienced Cone Penetration Test (CPT) Operator based in Brisbane.
The position involves operating truck and track based test rigs and performing specialised geotechnical tests and soil sampling.
CPT experience is required. Training will be provided for specific company procedures, to operate rigs and other specialist testing and sampling.
As a company we focus on the provision of high quality geotechnical data to our clients rather than just high production rates. We need someone who is enthusiastic and capable of learning new insitu testing methods. This will require computer literacy and good problem solving skills, together with the ability to work in a team.
The job will mostly be based around Brisbane, but there will be periods of work around Australia.
The following skills and experience are required:
- Experience in Cone Penetration Testing (CPT).
- Heavy rigid vehicle license.
- Computer literacy is essential to operate specialist software to log and process data.
- Ability to problem solve issues involving hydraulics, electronics and software. Support from other company staff is always available for these issues and the ability to clearly explain issues on site is the main requirement.
- Understand and be committed to following safe work practices.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, able to work independently and willing to learn new skills.
Salary will be based on experience and will increase as skill set broadens.
