We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to lead and oversee our structural steel projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of steel construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage structural steel projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, ensuring efficient resource management.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess safety compliance, quality control, and project milestones.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing structural steel projects.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and steel design tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
