We are seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our growing team! Reporting to the Project Manager, this role presents a great opportunity to work within an experienced team to broaden your skills within the Civil Construction industry.
Our current portfolio comprises Bulk Earthworks, Land Development and Civil Infrastructure in the Perth metro area. You will work with the Project team, supervisor and business stakeholders to deliver successful project and company outcomes.
Accountabilities of the role:
- Be familiar with Engineering Drawings and Specifications to provide specific instructions and advice to Supervisors, Project Engineers and HSE Advisors as to project risks; be they quality, safety, time, budget or other risks.
- Assist in the development of initial project programs.
- Establish inspection and test plans and other essential Quality Assurance obligations.
- Working with the Project Management team you will ensure that the necessary technical support and information is provided to meet the production schedule.
- Actively identify changes to Project Scope or other Variation opportunities, measure and price these Variations and report back to the Project Manager or Engineer as required.
- Accurately measure, record and verify the asphalt, kerbing, footpaths etc. as per estimated quantities and submit a report to the Project Management team for review.
- Assist the Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities, monitor the practical application of the TMP.
- Be willing to complete site inductions and assist with the preparation of JSEA’s.
Skills & Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (Civil preferred).
- WA Drivers Licence (manual preferred).
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to undergo a full pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
- High level of organisation and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- The ability to think independently and display initiative.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
