Position : Cafe all rounders
As a Front of House Worker, you'll be the friendly face of Durk's Cafe, ensuring our customers have an unforgettable experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving a wide range of speciality coffees and beverages
- Ensuring consistent quality in every cup
- Engaging with customers, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the coffee preparation area
- Collaborating with the team to create unique and enticing seasonal coffee offerings
- Greeting customers with a warm and welcoming demeanour
- Taking customer orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations
- Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and tidy dining area
- Collaborating with the kitchen and barista teams to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. We welcome individuals with a strong passion for coffee, customer service, and food.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A team player mentality with a positive and proactive attitude.
