About the Role
Step into a rewarding Associate Nurse Unit Manager role where you’ll combine clinical expertise with leadership to support exceptional nursing or midwifery care. You’ll work alongside the Unit Manager to strengthen team performance, guide staff and help ensure the ward, unit or service runs smoothly.
Deliver safe, consistent and high-quality patient care
Support the Unit Manager with day-to-day service needs
Lead and guide less experienced nursing or midwifery staff
Assist with rosters, staffing, recruitment and leave
Drive practice improvements and positive change
Support resource, supply and financial planning
About You
You are a collaborative and capable nursing professional ready to combine your clinical expertise with leadership and a commitment to high-quality care.
To be successful in this role you will:
Hold current or eligible Nursing Board of Australia registration
Bring relevant post-registration or Clinical Nurse experience
Demonstrate strong clinical skills in the relevant practice area
Communicate well and confidently resolve problems and conflict
Support, supervise and develop less experienced nursing staff
