At Insignia Financial, we're on an ambitious journey to become Australia's leading service provider. To support that growth, we're looking for an experienced people leader to take ownership of a complex and highly visible business support portfolio within our Wrap business.
This is a genuine leader of leaders opportunity. As Senior Operations Manager, Business Support, you'll lead a team of leaders responsible for a diverse range of critical functions including incident management, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, remediation, data integrity, client communications and business governance, helping teams deliver exceptional outcomes while driving continuous improvement across the business
You'll provide direction, coaching and support to experienced managers and specialists, while helping the business navigate regulatory change, embed continuous improvement and deliver operational excellence at scale.
What you will be doing
Lead and develop a team of experienced leaders across multiple business support functions
Drive operational excellence, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee incident management, remediation and risk-related activities
Ensure effective delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting obligations
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across the organisation
Chair governance forums, risk meetings and key business committees
Create an environment where leaders and teams can thrive, perform and deliver for customers
What you will bring
We're looking for a senior superannuation leader who can lead through complexity, build high-performing teams and confidently influence across a large and evolving organisation
Leadership experience within superannuation, wrap, wealth management or custody operations
Proven success leading leaders and developing high-performing teams in a complex operating environment
Strong understanding of governance, risk, regulatory obligations, remediation and operational controls
Experience overseeing critical operational functions such as incident management, reconciliations, customer resolutions, data integrity or regulatory reporting
The ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex business challenges and drive continuous improvement
Strong executive presence, stakeholder management skills and confidence operating within governance and risk forums
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring and unlocking the potential of others
