Female Mandarin-Speaking Support Worker Wanted – Noble Park
Resilient Life Care is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Mandarin-speaking female Support Worker to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a child in Noble Park.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about making a positive difference in their daily life through engaging, community-based, and capacity-building supports.
Shift Details
- Location: Noble Park
- Day: Saturday
- Duration: 3-hour shift
- Ongoing opportunity for the right candidate
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support tailored to the participant's individual needs. Duties may include:
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the participant
- Supporting community access and recreational activities
- Assisting with social interaction and communication
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Providing support in a safe, respectful, and engaging manner
- Following the participant's support plan and working collaboratively with their family and the Resilient Life Care team
Essential Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken)
- Female support worker
- Experience working with children
- Current full Australian driver's licence
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach
