Job Requisition: Contract Project Support (6 Months full time)

Reports to: Corporate Account Services Manager
Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented support person for Australia Operations Team and Project Support for a 6-month engagement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful migration and stability of our core banking system, Finacle, following a server change. This role will also support an upcoming loans interface project towards the end of the contract period and other tasks as needed in Operations Team’s scope. There will be support needed for testing on weekends occasionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support & Testing:- Ensure all project testing activities are performed with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication updates with the reporting manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure comprehensive test scripts are adhered to or escalated if issues
- Conduct rigorous data analysis to identify any discrepancies or unexpected system behavioural changes.
- Document and raise IT system tickets for any issues, or defects with clear and concise details.
- Collaborate with the regional head office project team and local operations team to resolve issues.
- Support Operation’s Team BAU and assigned tasks if assigned any
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks relating to data entry and data cleansing and contribute to team workload as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a project support or testing role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of UAT and LV process
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with account opening and core banking systems (e.g., Finacle) is highly desirable.
